I was worried the ties would dig in but the adjustable sides sit totally flat, no marks after a whole afternoon in the sun. The gold rings are a nice touch too, they've stayed shiny even after a few swims.

The ties on these actually stay put once you knot them, which I was worried about with tie-side bottoms. The green is a bit more muted than the photos but it looks good against a tan. Wore them all day at the beach and the seamless front didn't dig in at all.
